Worldview

Our Worldview includes our beliefs, assumptions, values, and ideas about life and the world. Our worldview  determines how we view, interpret, and understand all of life. It includes the principles that help us judge right and wrong, guiding us in everyday living. We use it to interpret reality.

Everyone has a Worldview. It may be a Worldview based on our own philosophy, another’s (worldly) philosophy, or based on the Bible. Many people have a mixture of Worldviews.

If we do not have a Biblical Worldview, our Worldview can be changed, but usually slowly. Biblical Worldviews are based on the infallible Word of God. Then, we will interpret and understand our circumstances and all of life as God and the Bible view them. The Bible is Absolute Truth, so we need to understand our circumstances and world as the Bible says we should.
