Our identity includes our personality, uniqueness, giftings, and anointings. Who are we really in Christ? When we do not know who we are in Christ, we try to do “a balancing act.” We do not rest in God, so instead, we allocate our time and efforts for God, church, family, work, prayer, exercising, and all of life. However, when we know who we are in Christ, we can have inner peace with God.
We are loved by God for WHO WE ARE, not because of what we have done or will do. Our true spiritual identity is: WE are SONS and DAUGHTERS of God.
Satan and his demons are the biggest identity thieves. He will do anything and everything to steal, kill, and destroy our identity in Christ. He tries to confuse us, so we are not sure who we are or our true purpose in life. There are many ways Satan tries to steal our identity. We must remember that we have a new identity in Christ; we are a new creation, a new species.
