Gifts of the Holy Spirit

Spiritual gifts are special abilities imparted by God to expand His Kingdom through ministry to others. We usually receive these gifts by asking for them in faith. Then we need to understand, grow, and use the gifts to serve God and build His Kingdom. Gifts are for ministry, not ourselves!!

The Bible talk about the Holy Spirit’s gifts:

1. I Corinthians 12:8–10 and 12:28 –  these supernatural gifts are given for building the body of Christ and God’s Kingdom.
2. Romans 12:3–8 – these are gifts (talents) we possess from our first birth. They are given to us to benefit others.
3. Ephesians 4:11 – these gifts, or offices, are to equip the body of Christ.

We study each gift in the booklet. They are all supernatural, so we cannot use them in our own power. We need empowerment from the Holy Spirit for these gifts to operate.
