Evangelism involves pursuading people to believe God’s “Good News” about Jesus Christ, by speaking, proclaiming, or preaching the Gospel, so evangelism is not a program or method. Instead, we encourage other people to build a personal relationship with God by sharing His truth. God’s greatest desire is to fellowship with each person He created, so they spend eternity with Him.
Evangelists preach the Good News of Jesus Christ. Jesus gave a command to His Church to go and preach the Good News to everyone.
People are lost without Christ! Jesus is the ONLY way to be saved and God absolutely wants everyone to know and trust in Him. Evangelism is a WORK of God, but God wants every believer to share the Gospel to accomplish His mission. Evangelism is part of Father God’s plan to help us, His children, to be mature and responsible. The Gospel spreads through relationships, and through our relationships we can share the Gospel.
